Very futuristic and vintage sounding at the same time, if you get what I mean. Sounds like I'm in a post apocalyptic club. There's a lightheartedness to it, but I feel like there's a subtle grimness or darkness to the melodies.

I like your choice of percussion, your basses are are really nice sounding. Keep it up yo.

wax-jr responds:

thanks man, the bass took me a while to learn it, believe or not the bass was made with 3xosc, i'm glad you like it, i just hope my brain does not run out of imagination juice :D

Getting a really old skool feel with that singing style. The guitar needs to be mixed in better, doesn't fit the vintage feel of the vocals. Sad stuff, decent though.

Affinitia responds:

Thanks man I'm really glad you like the vocals!

Percussion is great, drums have just the right amount of punch to them. It does get a bit repetitive, making the entire sound like an intro building up to a different melody. Perhaps add something different?

As a producer myself i do have ideas, but it's your song :)

HyperTrough responds:

Hey thanks for the review! I completely get what you're saying. The song could've gone in many directions, but I couldn't be bothered exporting the results and compressing them all over again :L

Hopefully I can work out a better workflow pattern for future tracks!

Thanks again :D

Very nice. Percussion is clipping a bit. Wheres the rest?

inhumanization805 responds:

didnt really finish it. just got bored and found drifted off on something else. lol thanks though

Your levels are all over the place. Just sounds like noise to me.

Monesmone responds:

I don't understand what you mean by levels, however I shall attempt to make each noise more distinct next time. Thanks for you comment.

Looking at some great production quality. The intro was pretty misleading though. I was like.. "wow that percussion is weak!" Then it actually dropped and i was like, "YEAH!"

The song does change a lot throughout, but i feel some sections are forced and don't feel as polished as the rest.

Anyways, voted 5 to counter the zero bombers. Keep doing your thing.

haxory responds:

Thanks a lot for the review mate :) It's much appreciated!

Interesting track, wish the percussion was a bit more drum and bassy. Hi hats were kind of boring and repetitive. Maybe add some melody variation

The pitch bends were a pretty cool addition, made the track more unique.

Check mine out if you'd like.

The-Cockenator responds:

Will do :D and yes its still just a bit reapetive but it will come soon and i will :D

Pretty great, loved the movement, sounds never felt like they were staying still. Made for a euphoric listening experience.

Mind letting me know how you did the chorus at 0:55? That gave me chills.

Excellent track.

KKSlider60 responds:

It is a Thor vocal patch, I use Reason. :) I was mainly inspired by Portal 2 and Nine Inch Nails.
Thanks for the review ^^

Melody was great. Don't like your choice of percussion. Try a less generic sounding snare. Try to mix it up with the hats as well.

balderdact responds:

Thanks for the advice!

Loving the industrial dubstep vibe. The percussion is awesome! Just wish the main wobble was a bit more massive if you know what I mean. Sounded like a car engine that just wasn't able to fully start.

Keep working at it, I dig your style.

Wurfel-Waffles responds:

Thank you so much for the comment. It's very helpful!
