Liked the break at 1:55, transitions need work though Instruments shouldn't feel as if they appear out of nowhere, if it flows it sounds better. Doesn't even have to be a gradual buildup or anything, perhaps a reversed cymbal to introduce a new synth. Good listen.

horoshij4el responds:

thanks

Your levels are all over the place, the low end is drowning everything out. Doesn't have to be all bass to sound good. Looking forward to the proper release though.

bornacar responds:

Yeah I know the bass is strong:) It was meant to be that way but I understand what you`re saying. I`ll work on it some more to find the golden middle.

So epic.. ;'D

Really love how it gets more intense and the song goes on. Must be a really hard boss battle.

May I ask which Vsts you used for the orchestral synths?

zcool888 responds:

thanks! haha yeah seems to fit one of those old 2d RPG battles :P

and it was mostly strings ( mainly violin), with a lot of man choir to make the lower sounds. I have bass in there too, buut you honestly can't really hear it.

AHHHHHH

1:25 - 1:50 Really love this part, sounds like a metal song.

After that the song gets super hectic... I think my brain melted a bit.

The only advice would give is to lower your levels. A song doesnt have to be super loud to be enjoyed, and you lose a lot of the punchiness of your drums that way.

HiPPieMoney responds:

Thanks mang! yeah, i know i really need to work on mixing better and at lower levels. Kinda get carried away after a long night. Will fix. Thanks again!

hmmm...

song is great.. everything about it is.. but the kick is wayyy too punchy which makes it hard to enjoy the vocals and highs.

try and mess with the eq on the kick and add some lower frequency bass.

ShootingStar responds:

I will do :) Haha But there is a sub bass in there :)
Glad you liked it!

ShootingStar

love it

god damn catchy, and loops perfectly.

snayk responds:

Yeah I realized as I was was making it that the way I planned on finishing it would loop it perfectly. Normally I leave a second or two of silence at the end of my tracks, but once I thought about its looping potential, I opted not to.

It was kind of inevitable that it would loop so well though because I don't actually have any variation in terms of the music. I just add instruments; The vox really are what the song is all about though, and that's where most of the variation is.

Thanks.

ooooooo...

i like this :)

MY REVIEW ('',)

You've got something great going, and it sounds awesome for how short it is. Though, it feels like it needs moar. It needs to like implode at one point and get really 'heavy.' You probably were going for something else, so just ignore me :(

Pretty creative and interesting.

0celot responds:

I know EXACTLY what you mean! There was a part which needed something raw and bass-y but I wasn't sure if it would add to the song or take away from it. Thanks :D

MY REVIEW

haha, nice style of music, its pretty unique, and you fit all of that in 1 minute xD

The end is really sudden tho so -1.

KenSkaii responds:
